In the winter time, one of my favorite places to photograph is Garfield Park Conservatory. You could spend hours inside this place and not feel like it’s 30 degrees (or colder out.) I could spend a million hours inside the fern room alone there. Naya and marsh chose to do their Garfield Park Conservatory engagement session in December which meant for Christmas decor everywhere and an upside down Christmas tree room (what!?). Perfect time because it had snowed the week of their session. It was absolutely freezing. One reason we selected the location was to go along with their tropical theme of their wedding, which is in Hawaii. The other, obviously because it was so cold out and she wanted to wear this stunning dress. It was pretty perfect.
While we wait on their Hawaii wedding happening this summer, this engagement session is going to be split up in to two parts. One at home (coming soon!) and the other this session at Garfield Park Conservatory. So expect to see their faces again and their cute dog.
