I love epic adventures. I love photographing epic engagement sessions at amazing locations. This past year Josh and I have been blessed to shoot a couple of times at an amazing location two hours outside Chicago. Starved Rock is incredible. Canyons come out of nowhere and the views around the entire park are beautiful.

If you have been following me the last couple years, you will recognize Josh and Mary. They are repeat clients I have had the pleasure of knowing since I moved to Chicago. Josh reached out to me a couple of years back after one of his good friends, Amanda (Who is another incredible photographer in Oregon!) found me when searching for a photographer in the area. Still not sure how she found me, a newbie in such a large city. However, she did and I met Josh. Josh wanted to get Mary for her birthday/anniversary a photo session. That happened. Fast forward another year, Josh called me and asked me to photograph their proposal and here we are again with engagements and next month their wedding. I could not have been blessed with such an incredible couple. Seeing their life and relationship grow together has been amazing. Next month Josh and I will be headed to Cincinnati to photograph their new chapter. I couldn’t be more excited so with that I’ll save their love story for their wedding post next month. It’s a good one.
