2014 was an incredible year for my photography. In 2014 we photographed 41 weddings, 2 elopements, 3 styled shoots, and 70+ events, engagement, family, boudoir, senior, newborn and lifestyle sessions making 2014 my biggest year yet. We spent most of May in Europe eating pasta and gelato in Italy, photographing a wedding in Greece, being infatuated by the Eiffel Tower in France, visiting family in Germany and exploring a war recovering city in Croatia. It was year full of achievements, loss, and new friendships. I started a group for photographer’s who face struggles being a small business owners. That group has launched me to plan and host my first photography retreat in 2015.
I am so thankful to each of my clients who helped me create all of these wonderful memories and trusted me to create so many epic images of them. What a year. Thank you to all the amazing vendors we had the opportunity to work with this year and/or plan shoots with. I really cannot wait to work with you all again next year. You were amazing.
Happy New Year, everyone!

In 2015 we will another one for the history books. Let’s see if we can top 2014. In 2015 I’ll be doing a lot of traveling throughout the US and Canada. I would love to throw another destination wedding in to the mix. I’ve set a lot of great goals which include shooting less weddings and shooting more personal work and lifestyle work. In 2015, I’d like to start building a strong lifestyle portfolio along with my travels.

The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.
