I spent a lot of time in France this summer for weddings and holiday. It’s not every day that you are invited to come to Burgundy, France region to document the love + marriage of one of the sweetest couples you’ve ever met. That’s exactly what happened to me this summer when we photographed this garden wedding in Burgundy France. Earlier that summer I met Nolwenn and Leo in Paris and documented their engagement session roaming the streets of Paris. Can you say bucket list? Then in August, Josh and I flew back out to Paris, drove out to the countryside to a small town in the Burgundy region called Auxerre and settled in the cutest little hotel. Nolwenn and Leo would marry in the village of Sementron; One of the smallest town I have ever laid eyes on with one of the oldest churches I have ever been in. I don’t know exact dates but think late 15th and 16th century, maybe older. Their morning was brief. The weather was perfect, warm and a light breeze. Truly a perfect summer day in France. Josh and I arrived to capture a few getting ready moments as they got ready for their city hall ceremony where they would be married by the mayor in a neighboring village, they would meet their families back at their family cottage for lunch before getting ready for the main event which would take place at the village church, a first look alongside a pond that Nolwenn’s family spent much of their time at growing up and the reception at L’Abîme. A beautiful garden venue in the french countryside. This day could not have been more perfect in so many ways.
You’re in for a treat. This garden wedding in Burgundy, France is not one to be missed. I promise.

The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.
I so love the intimate feel of your photojournalism. These photos are simply stunning!
